Sara Clodman

Sara Clodman is Chief Public Affairs and Governance Officer at the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA), where she leads the Association’s efforts to support a favourable public policy environment that enables organizations to effectively and responsibly serve consumers. She has been a leading voice for business on privacy law reform, consumer protection and competition matters. Her presentation to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Industry and Technology regarding Bill C-27 highlighted the urgent need for an effective privacy law that protects consumers, including minors, while enabling innovation for economic growth.
Sara's career includes senior positions at The Investment Funds Institute of Canada, the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association and a major financial services company, as well as roles in the public and political sectors. She is currently a board member of the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (DAAC).
Sara has sat on several boards, including the National Ballet School and Bridgepoint (formerly Riverdale Hospital). She served on the City of Toronto Committee of Adjustment for 12 years, including three years as Vice-Chair.
Sara holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and an Honours BA from the University of Toronto.
Andrew Schuster

As Chief Technology Officer, Andrew leads Environics Analytics (EA)’s Software Development and Information Technology teams, including Data Governance, Operations, and Infrastructure. Andrew plays a pivotal role in translating the company's business objectives into technical initiatives, fostering innovation, and keeping the organization at the forefront of both technological advancements and regulatory standards. Prior to this role Andrew led the team that developed ENVISION, EA’s second-generation online business intelligence platform. Andrew is a Certified Analytics Insights Professional (CAIP) and holds a Master’s degree in spatial analysis from Ryerson (now Toronto Metropolitan University).
Pamela Snively
Chief Data & Trust Officer, TELUS
Pamela Snively is the Chief Data & Trust Officer at TELUS. She leads the team responsible for privacy governance and data ethics, along with data management and a number of compliance functions, including the Anti-bribery & Corruption and Competition Law programs. Pam approaches overall data governance through the lens of customer trust, leveraging TELUS’ Customer First principle to drive the organization’s commitment to privacy and data ethics.
Pamela was the recipient of the 2017 Ontario Bar Association’s Karen Spector Memorial Award for Excellence in Privacy Law. She participates in a number of national and international think-tanks and governance bodies related to privacy and data governance, including serving as a Board member for the Information Accountability Foundation and on the Privacy and Data Advisory Committee for the Canadian Marketing Association. She is also a founding member and Chair of Canada’s Business Privacy Group, a working group made up of some of Canada’s leading privacy professionals and industry associations focused on building trust in Canada’s digital ecosystem and legislative regime.
Pam is a frequent speaker on privacy and data ethics and she actively encourages other organizations to join her in her mission to earn and elevate consumer trust in our digital ecosystem.
Suzanne L. Morin
Vice-President, Chief Privacy and Data Ethics Officer, Sun Life
As Vice-President, Chief Privacy and Data Ethics Officer, Suzanne is responsible for overall privacy leadership at Sun Life and its subsidiaries worldwide. Her mandate includes the company’s Code of Conduct program and evolving standards for ethical use of data. Suzanne’s prior roles include leading the legal team in Quebec and compliance for IT.
Before joining Sun Life in 2015, Suzanne spent more than 20 years working in the communications industry, for businesses such as Bell Canada and BlackBerry.
A passionate believer in giving back to the community and helping to shape the public debate, Suzanne is actively involved with many organizations including the Canadian Bar Association’s National Privacy and Access Law Section, CANON – the Canadian Anonymization Network, the Information Accountability Foundation, and MediaSmarts, a leader in media and digital literacy. Suzanne served as an appointed member of the Board of the Standards Council of Canada for over a decade.
Suzanne has appeared before parliamentary and legislative committees, and speaks frequently at Canadian and international conferences.
Suzanne is always physically active, walking and working in the yard, loves jigsaw puzzles and coffee. She has a son and husband and divides her time between Ottawa and Montreal.
