The irony in this time of transformative digitalization of all things marketing coupled with the rapid erosion of attention spans and the growing dominance of in a blink of an eye video and imagery is that the written word is more important than ever.
On Writing Well
Writing great copy is both art and science. This training will strive to cover both.
Great writing can educate; it can entertain; it can inspire; it can persuade. Great copy often must do all of that and more. And that’s where the art comes in. Writing and rewriting to find just the right word, just the right phrase to engage; to paint a vibrant picture; to give new meaning to pictures it accompanies; to persuade often requires unlocking a talent for language that we all possess but often do not employ. The training will help you hone your talents.
But in the AI fueled, SEO dominant world of marketing, science plays a role as well. From how to structure copy for a website and social media character counts to crafting sub-text in a video script and putting syntax to work, effective copywriting requires a technical understanding of the platforms on which it lives and the formats it takes on.
Understanding both the art and science of writing great copy will equip you with the tools and hunger and unleash the power and persuasiveness of your own words. You will learn to say the right thing, to the right person in a way it has never been said before.
