The CMA Awards is Canada's largest industry celebration, recognizing the best in Canadian marketing and the top campaigns and marketers of the past year. To celebrate this year's awards, we are hosting a celebration in Vancouver BC to connect with fellow marketing professionals and toast the great work in 2024. This event will also include a panel of 2024 Awards judges and industry experts discussing The New Golden Age of Canadian Creativity, led by Wayne Carrigan.

Garett Senez
Chief Executive Officer, Quark
Garett Senez is an award-winning marketer, with 20 years of sales and marketing experience for leading consumer brands. A dynamic leader, he brings a competitive edge and outstanding brand communications expertise to global companies looking to scale.
In his last leadership roles in Consumer Packaged Goods (L’Oreal, SABMiller), and Healthcare (LUFF Brands, Emerald Health Therapeutics), Garett has consistently proven his capability to lead diverse teams of practitioners worldwide to a common goal. A strategic thinker, Garett thrives in competitive work environments and has a passion for storytelling.
Garett is an avid entrepreneur, founding PACRIM Distributors in 2015, a Global Affairs Canada and Canadian Trade Commission partner organization. PACRIM Distributors supports the long run growth of the Canadian craft brewery industry by distributing 13 Canadian craft beer brands in 21 international markets including the premium showcase markets of Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
More recently, Garett founded Quark, a Canadian company creating the future of ‘parent products’. Developed with parents in mind, Quark products are designed to be durable and long-lasting, accessible, less wasteful, and uncompromising in safety. Quark has established a record Canadian business and is now listed at every major Canadian retailer in the country, including Walmart, Real Canadian Superstore, London Drugs, Indigo, Amazon, and more. The company is currently completing Series-A financing in advance of entering the United States market with Target USA in March 2024.
Garett is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association, has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from Simon Fraser University and a Global MBA from the University of Victoria.

Wayne Carrigan is an award-winning marketing and sales leader with over 25 years of implementing innovative go-to-market strategies for high-growth companies.
Wayne serves as Fractional Sales Leader for three Vancouver-based companies with an emphasis on mentoring the next generation of leaders within those firms.
Wayne is a MacKay CEO Forums Chair where he facilitates peer learning with results-oriented CEOs, executives, and business owners to solve their toughest problems and maximize their best opportunities personally and professionally.
He is the lead organizer for the 5,000+ member Vancouver Data Visualization Group which is dedicated to the study of – and peer collaboration for – data analysis and visualization.
Wayne recently completed his 2-year term serving on The Canadian Marketing Association’s CX Council. He is a former CMA Awards Judge, and is a champion of entrepreneurship, marketing and peer learning.

Sasha Bricel

Sasha Bricel is the Director of Marketing Services at Nature’s Path Foods where she leads the Marketing team in finding innovations ways to connect Nature’s Path brands to consumers, drive growth and deepen Nature’s Path position as the leader in organic breakfast foods. Sasha directly oversees advertising, media strategy and planning, social media, the rising creator economy, communications and creative. Prior to Nature’s Path Sasha lead the Marketing team at tentree where she lead the brands most influential and successful viral campaign ‘double tap to plant.’ Sasha began her career in advertising working for some of the nations most influential brands including Lexus, Air Canada and Tim Hortons. Her marketing and advertising campaigns have won multiple awards including Cannes Lions and D + AD pencil.
