Mu’s marketing journey began in the fast-moving world of CPG, where he managed brands, worked alongside major research agencies including Nielsen and Kantar, and gained hands-on experience across the full commercialization lifecycle from consumer insight and product concept testing to brand positioning and go-to-market execution. That industry foundation now informs everything he teaches.

Today, Mu teaches marketing and digital business across three Vancouver-area colleges — VCC, SELC, and Blanche Macdonald Centre, covering everything from Digital Business Applications and Integrated Marketing Communications to Brand Strategy and HRM. He also serves as a part-time food tour guide on Granville Island, which much like great marketing is just about telling compelling stories to the right audience.
