Whether your campaigns are managed by an in-house team, an agency partner or a third party, marketers must understand the obligations that exist under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules (UTRs). Featuring the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), this session will you navigate the rules to prevent consumer complaints.
Focused on typical daily marketing activities, from commercial electronic messages, including email and mobile marketing, to telemarketing campaigns, this session delivers actionable insights to help you operate effectively and compliantly across these channels. You will learn about key compliance requirements, including consent when sending commercial electronic messages, telemarketing to Canadians, the National Do Not Call List, and automated calling.
The session provides the practical knowledge you need to better understand the requirements and reduce compliance risks, so you can build stronger relationships and support a safer communications environment for Canadians.
Email marketers, digital strategists, marketing operations professionals, and anyone responsible for customer communication programs, client-side, or agency, B2B, or B2C, all experience levels welcome.
