This self-paced course is designed to help experienced marketers new to Canada gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the Canadian market. Participants will explore Canada’s cultural, economic, and regional diversity, learning to navigate consumer behaviors, media landscapes, and regulatory environments across different provinces. The course covers key topics including digital marketing strategies, cultural nuances, and building effective marketing plans tailored to Canadian consumers.

The course is comprised of 9 modules, and you will have the flexibility to complete them within 4 months from your enrollment date. To obtain your certificate, you must complete the module quizzes and the final exam.

  • Understand the unique characteristics of the Canadian digital market, including the digital media consumption habits of Canadians and the evolving regulatory environment

10. Summative Quiz

Course Requirements:
CMA’s certificate program courses are designed to build on the skills and knowledge of marketing practitioners. Individuals must have at least one year of experience in a marketing-related role to take this course.

Workload:
CMA’s Marketing in Canada course consists of nine modules, each followed by a quiz, with a final summative quiz at the end of the course. On average, this course will take 40 hours to complete, and learners have four months from the date of enrollment to complete all course requirements. This on-demand course, available on our online learning platform, offers the flexibility to learn at your own pace.

Course Weighting:
Module Quizzes – 75%
Summative Quiz – 25%  

Pass Requirements:
Learners must receive an overall grade of 70% to pass the course.

Internet Requirements:
You will require a minimum upload bandwidth of 5mbps to stream our course videos, which are 1080p. Please ensure you have access to high-speed internet for the duration of the course.


We will provide a refund less an administration fee of $25 for cancellation requests received within 7 days of purchase for any on-demand course which has not been accessed and/or opened. Any on-demand courses which have been accessed and/or opened are no longer eligible for refunds. To cancel, a learner will select ‘credit request’ in MyBillings and select ‘refund’, refunds will be issued to the source of payment and may take up to 4 weeks to be completed.
