Raising the voice of marketing communities across Canada
Canada is the second largest country in the world. Many of us have friends and relatives who think they can visit here and see the country in five days. Or we’ve been asked the quintessential “Oh you’re from Canada. Do you know Alisha Patel? I think she lives in Calgary.”
Canada’s breadth of 5,500 kilometres includes picturesque landscapes, majestic mountains, frozen glaciers, and impressive wildlife. I have had the privilege of seeing a lot of it.
Marketers impact business success. The CMA’s purpose is to embolden marketers across the country to make their impact powerful. From CMA NXT, to learners in the Chartered Marketer program and attendees at our many events, participation from across the country has blossomed since we went virtual in 2020.
As a next step in serving Canadian enterprise, I am pleased to announce our BC Forum – the first of more to come.
CMA Regional Forums will support members outside of the GTA by giving marketers across the country a stronger voice through the CMA and the ability to amplify local marketing best practices, programs and thought leadership.
The CMA BC Forum includes representatives from McDonalds, CBC, HSBC, IG Wealth Management, the University of Victoria, Canada Post, the University of Fraser Valley and The British Columbia Automobile Association. Noise Digital’s president Trevor Carr, who will chair the group, says he is honoured and excited to chair the CMA BC Forum, to highlight and share how they are adapting locally and innovating in the new customer centric environment.
Scroll down to meet the members of our B.C. Forum, and please join me in welcoming them to their new role.
If you are interested in joining a regional forum in your local community, please drop me a line.
