Evaluating progress

Dec 13, 2021

Our second annual DEI research study

From our youngest age, we learn that measuring progress is important. It is baked into the way we are as humans. Like many of you, I enjoyed notching my height on the kitchen door frame and seeing how much taller I had grown over the previous year.

We have just launched our second annual DEI research, and I am looking forward to reviewing the results. The purpose of the research is to understand how diverse the Canadian marketing community is, how equitable our workplaces are, and what efforts organizations are making to be inclusive and fostering belonging for individuals at all stages of their marketing careers. And this year, we are conducting the survey in English and French.

We need your input to ensure the results are meaningful. If you have not yet participated, you can do so by clicking here.

Thank you to our growing number of partners on this initiative, including strategy, Ad Standards, L'Association Marketing Québec, Black Talent Initiative, Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada, Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, and Marketing News Canada.

We will share the findings of this research in the early spring. Let’s see how far we’ve come since last year.

Forward,
