Celebrating the best of the best
Now that the window for regular CMA Awards has closed, I am happy to report that the number of entries has exceeded our expectations. We are grateful to the marketing community for your strong level of participation and we have no doubt that the calibre of the winning campaigns will be outstanding.
Thanks also to our record number of judges – 460 to be exact – who are dedicating their time and expertise to select the best of the best.
All of this success has taken place against a backdrop of financial challenges caused by the pandemic. While many companies took us up on our offer of a free first entry, some organizations did not participate in our Awards this year for reasons of principle or practice. We sincerely wish these businesses a return to financial health and well-being and hope to see them back, stronger than ever, in future years.
As you know, we are moving ahead with a Virtual Awards Gala – it is simply the right thing to do. We are discovering many upsides to this approach and we promise that it will be a memorable celebration as it has always been, featuring a custom online experience with a winners’ gallery, great opportunities to network, and more.
